I’m seriously interested in making and using telescopes. It’s something I wanted to do most all of my life but I didn’t know this until about 11 years ago, when I discovered the Amateur Telescope Makers of Boston. In 2004-2005 I was honored to serve as president of this organization, one of the oldest and largest astronomy clubs in the US.

I’m also on a mission of sorts to learn the sky. I am getting better at it, and find that teaching others is how I learn best.
